Nutrition Counseling - Coming Fall ‘25

A whole-person approach for your whole-person life.

Make Peace with Food and Body

I know you’re confused about what to eat or how to take care of yourself. You’re frustrated because no matter how hard you work, you feel like you just aren’t doing enough. I understand the anxiety that bubbles up when a new ‘wellness’ trend barrels through and makes you feel like you’ll never get it right.

But at the end of the day, all you want is to be healthy, to feel good in your body, to have as much energy as you possibly can, and to know how to take care of yourself.

Anti Diet/HAES

Nutrition counseling should never be limited to a meal plan or a calorie level; that is a disservice to you as a dynamic person with a complex life.

Health is at the center of every person I work with. With the ultimate goal to feel the best you can with the body you have.

That means that when working together, we won’t focus on weight-based goals, but we’ll hold space for that reality, and work to develop a more positive relationship between you and your body.

How does

Nutrition Counseling

work?

It starts with you.

I help you filter through your health goals, your lifestyle, your food preferences, and your history, to create an individualized plan that meets your needs.

Taking the guesswork out of what you SHOULD be doing leaves so much more space to actually do the things that will make you feel better.

And virtual telehealth appointments make it easy for you to fit into your schedule in the comfort of your home.

  • Whether it’s through repeated dieting or eating to numb some emotion, we can lose the ability to listen to our body and our hunger. Intuitive eating is a different approach to health that helps us reconnect and trust our bodies again. Because the body knows what it needs, we just need to listen.

Not Your Average Dietitian

After working in a hospital setting for 10 years, specifically in surgical care and oncology, I knew there was more than just telling people what to eat.

It was building relationships. It was understanding what people, not patients, were going through. In order to help them heal, I needed to help them feel seen.

Since building my own practice over these past 7 years I have been trained as a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and as a Certified Befriending Your Body Teacher.

That means that when you work with me, you are getting trauma-informed care that doesn’t just start and stop at the edge of your fork or the food in your refrigerator.

That’s why working with me is a WHOLE PERSON experience.

Beyond that, my practice is all-inclusive, anti-diet, fat-positive/weight-inclusive, LGBTQ+ allied, and anti-racist.
